Poetry About Jesus And Salvation
cindydwy
Jesus saved me when I was 24 years old when I realized I was a sinner and called upon his name to have mercy on me. He forgave my sin and gave me a new heart and also the gift of eternal life to live with him forever.
I have a wonderful husband,Randy, to whom I have been married since 1973, one son, two daughters, one son-in law, a daughter-in-law, six grandchildren, three boys and three girls, and also two sweet Cavalier King Charles spaniels. Next to my love for Jesus, my savior, is the precious family God has given me. I began writing poems in 2008 after reading a Children's prayers poem book to my 4-year-old grandson pictured above.
It is the burden and desire of my heart for any reader that does not know Jesus, that they will accept him as their personal savior and be born again before it is eternally too late. John 14:6 says "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." There is no other way to have eternal life and your name written down in heaven.
Life verse: Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
