Tyler and Grandma Wyatt (Cindy) had so many good times together when he was growing up. We played hide-go-seek, karate, and our favorate thing to do was to play catch, usually with a football.  He could sure make up the craziest pretend stories and always told his grandma what to say. Whenever he came to our house the first thing he would always say was "I'm hungry, I'm thirsty, " which inspired me to write the poem called "Hungry and Thirsty." He was such a joy in my life. I'll always cherish the fond memories of all our good times together. 

The other fun memory I have of Tyler is how he always liked me to watch him play video games and he would explain it to me what he was doing. He also liked to say my name a lot, like every sentence it was always 'Grandma this, Grandma that. I loved it. It was like music to my ears.

It's a real blessing to see the fine young man that Tyler has grown up to be. He's a very hard worker at Home Depot and is learning many new job skills to be certified with saws and lumber, etc. I'm so proud of him.

Mylee used to be scared of Ricky for quite a while and even scared of our sweet gentle cavaliers, but she eventually got over her fear and now she really loves him and our dogs and puppies too.

Jennifer took me and Randy out for dinner and afterwards took just me to the Whiting Auditorium in famous Flint, MI, to see the Nutcracker Suite, for my birthday present.

I've seen the Nutcracker about 4 times and I've always loved it. It is a really magnificent show with wonderful music too by the Flint Symphony Orchestra. Leave it to Jennifer, she bought really good expensive seats too.  I sure love my girl! She spoils me.

Wyatt is the life of the party at our family gatherings. He's a natural born comedian and keeps us all laughing.  His comedian act specialty is when the whole family is playing games. Leave it to Wyatt to always bring the entertainment.

He just really loved people and could have intelligient conversations with adults at a very young age and was very well mannered and respectful too. He sure was quite a boy and a great big joy.

The kids love climbling the same tree their mom used to climb in Grandma and Grandpa's back yard. Grandpa (Randy) actually planted that tree 47 years ago and now it is humongous. That's one of the joys of living in the same house for many, many years.

Jennifer went right off to college to the Flint University of Michigan School of Nursing directly after graduation as she already knew she wanted to be a nurse. She had her 4 year BSN degree in nursing and was a RN at the age of 21.  She worked hard, so proud of her.

Jennifer, the pretty head nurse of the family

Even though Jennifer is the youngest in age, she was the first nurse in the family out of 3 nurses, becoming an RN BSN at the age of 21. Since she has been a nurse the longest, Randy and I always call her our head nurse and go to her first for advice. She is very skilled in her profession and even does a lot of teaching seminars.  She really loves her children too and is a good mom to them.

This brings back memories of when he and I used to play catch with a football since he was a very young age. He was Grandma's sweet little boy.

Who would believe it, she's only 9 years old and already a great cook. She can make a whole homecooked meal from scratch all by herself. She cooked dinner for Grandma and Grandpa and it was delicious. She has her own cookbook too.

Mylee enjoyed the show because she is a ballet and tap dancer herself. She had to educate her grandma and tell her what kind of dance they were doing.

These two were my very first grandchildren, born 3 months apart, with Joey being the oldest. Both graduated in 2022 and are very handsome, and hard working young men.
