Kim is a very talented pianist, which she passed down to her daughter, Allie.

This was on Easter 2022. We also opened our Christmas presents since we missed Christmas 2021 due to Covid sickness in the family. All the kids really loved the puppies. This was actually the day after we got Lil Red and everyone was surprised when we got there with two puppies instead of just one.

Allie has always loved playing the piano since day one and she is very talented at it, just like her mother.

 Allie is a wonderful pianist. I love to hear her play. She's come a long ways and gets better and better all the time.

18-year-old Joey still likes to climb the same tree his mom used to climb in Grandma and Grandpa's back yard.  This tree was actually planted by Grandpa Wyatt (Randy) 47 years ago and now it is humongous. That's one of the joys of staying in the same house for many, many years.

This is the same school I went to when I was a kid. The playground equipment is different though. I love telling my kids and grandkids the history of the town I grew up in and the town they live in now or did.

The kids loved the backyard ice skating rink their dad worked very hard to make for them. It was such a fun winter for them. They had a lot of friends over to skate on it too. With this kind of rink you have to just hope for cold weather. 

The girls did their fancy figure skating and Joey played hockey at the same time, whizzing by each other. It was quite a sight to watch them.

Allie looks pretty pleased with her cookie she decorated. Who knew she was going to grow up to be a great baker someday. Nowadays she makes cookies, pies, and cakes all from scratch for people, starting when she was only 14.

Who knew these two were going to grow up to be nurses someday, at the same hospital even.

Sisters, Jennifer and Kim, ran in the Crim race quite a few times in good old famous Flint, MI.

This was at Kim's pinning ceremony.  When you receive your pin, that is when you become an official RN.  Kim was the last nurse to join the ranks. They all work at the same hospital too.



Randy, Kim, and Cindy at Kim's one and only triathlon at Sanford Lake in MI. She trained hard. She had to swim, run, and ride a bike, I don't remember how far. What a great accompliment! She did it! She always was a striver to reach goals and has a lot of determination. So proud of her.

They were so in love and married on June 24, 2000. It's easy to remember how long they've been married. Kim was 21 and Jim was 23. She met him at church when she was home from college on Christmas break. Kim told me right after she met him that she was going to marry him. We thought she would meet her husband at college, but surprisingly she met her husband Jim at church and I'm glad too. Jim is a wonderful son-in-law, very gentle and tenderhearted and a hard worker.

Beautiful Kim

Kim is one of 3 nurses in the family.  Even though she is the oldest one in age, she is the newest nurse, becoming an RN around her mid 30s, following in the footsteps of her younger sister, Jennifer. The income helps a lot to pay for their kids to go to a Christian school.

She is a very, very talented violinist. I love to hear her play solos. She is the best violin player that I have ever heard, and I'm not just saying that because she is my granddaughter. She plays perfectly in tune.

Katie loves to read, even on the boat. That's why she's so smart and does excellent in school.

Katie figure skates so beautifully.  She just glides so smoothly and gracefully across the ice.

 Allie is a beautiful figure skater as well, with such gracefulness. I always enjoyed watching both her and Katie. Katie was the first skater, then later Allie decided to follow in the footsteps of her big sister.

Maci is Kim's cousin Kelli's daughter. This was at Kim's grandma Wyatt's memorial service in 2014.

His first job is driving cars around to deliver them to different car dealerships. He is also taking on-line college classes in cyber security.

Jim is a good family man who works very hard for his family as a manager at a car dealership, the only one in the family not in the medical field. He spends a lot of time doing things with the kids and is very loyal to his family. He also is very kindhearted and means so much to our family.

Kim looks so young. You'd never believe she is 40. I sure love her. She's my girl.

Her older brother Tommy was a BMX racer first, and then she decided to follow in his footsteps and also do some BMX racing.

These were the only grandchildren at the time and they had a lot of great times together. Wyatt and Mylee were not born yet.

There are a lot of good memories from that house, a lot of family love and good times, and a lot of birthday parties.

Jennifer and Kim surprised me at the last minute and took me (Cindy) with them on this trip. I was very ill, but the Lord sustained me. I had a great time with the kids and grandkids. It is such a fond memory. Jennifer was pregnant with Wyatt at the time and we were all looking at his ultrasound picture. He was so cute.
