Jesus Did It All For You And Me

Jesus hungered so I could eat from his abundant supply

of His life giving bread that will take me to heaven when I die

Jesus cried "I thirst" while on the cross he died

so that I could drink from his fountain and my soul be satisfied

Jesus was tempted so he understands my struggle within

When I go boldly to his throne of grace he gives me victory over sin

Jesus was forsaken by God while on the cross my sins he bore

so I could become God's child and never forsaken by him forevermore

Jesus lived a perfect life and never sinned one time

so I could be declared righteous and the gift of eternal life be mine

Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world once and for all 

to save to the uttermost anyone who will believe on him and call

Romans 10:13: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
