Poetry About Jesus And Salvation

Do You Have Jesus
Do you have Jesus or is he just someone you've heard about
Have you tasted of his mercy and grace without a doubt
Are you certain he has forgiven you of sin and saved your soul
Do you have his gift of eternal life and life so abundant and full
Have you come to him in faith in his sacrifice on the cross for you
Do you know him as your savior or do you not even have a clue
Do you belong to Jesus as redeemed and one of his own
Are you trusting in his shed blood and resurrection alone
Have you been born again by believing on Jesus' name
Has your spirit been regenerated and never again the same
I John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
Hungry and Thirsty
Are you hungry and thirsty
and have nothing to eat or drink
Does life seem to be useless
and you can’t seem to find the missing link
Then just come drink from the everlasting fountain
that never shall run dry
and eat of the bread of life
with no money ever needed to buy
Jesus is that bread of life who came down from heaven
to die on the cross for you and me
So by receiving him as our savior we could receive
everlasting life more abundant and free
John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
How Long Is Eternity
If you take your last breath today
do you know where you will spend eternity
If you live to be 103 and then die
where will you be ?
People plan for their future,
with provisions for their retirement they make
but ignore the most important thing
when their eternal soul is at stake
If you live 10 or 103 years on earth
what is that compared with forever and ever
Once you take your last breath
you'll not be able to change your mind, no never
Your soul will be living eternally
in either heaven or hell
That's why the story of Jesus saving grace
is what I like to tell
Jesus loves you and shed his blood
on the cross to save you
Your eternal destiny
all depends on what with Jesus you will do
Will you accept him as your savior
and go to heaven someday
Or will you reject his love and gift of salvation
and go on your own way
Eternity is a long long time,
trillions of years and more, never ending
What you do with Jesus
is the most important decision in your life pending
If you don't know Jesus personally,
just tell him you're sorry for your sin and trust in him alone
He will forgive and give you eternal life in heaven
This decision is so important, it is dangerous to postpone
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Going To Heaven
I’m absolutely sure
I’ll go to heaven when I die
Way far beyond the blue
is where my treasures lie
I know I’m going there soon
to be with my wonderful Saviour
Though unworthy in myself
I am entering though the door
This only door to heaven
is through trusting Jesus in your heart
When you put your faith in Him alone,
eternal life he will impart
That is the reason he suffered,
bled, and died upon a tree
So we could be forgiven of our sins
and live eternally
To put your faith in Jesus
means to be born again
a certain time when you turn to him
for forgiveness of your sin
knowing there is nothing good in yourself
to deserve this great salvation
but by accepting Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross,
he’ll make you a new creation
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and shall find pasture.
