A Stranger And A Pilgrim
I'm a stranger and a pilgrim
in this world that I plod
Watching and waiting to enter
my home that is built by God
Though I cannot see my eternal home
I know that it is there
Fashioned and designed
with my Father's utmost love and care
My eternal dwelling place is in a country
so very rich and grand
I pray the Lord hasten the day
when he'll lead me there by his hand
There is nothing in this world
that would ever make me want to stay
I'm just traveling through
On my way to a much more glorious day
Hebrews 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
