Poetry About Jesus and Salvation 



  

It’s all because of Jesus I’m not going to hell when I die

All because he paid for my sins is the reason why

He paid a tremendous price when he suffered for me

He poured out his own blood on the cross in much agony

 

When he died on the cross he was taking my place

My sins were all laid upon Him so I could be saved by grace 

I don’t deserve to go to heaven, but that is where I’m going

When God looks at my heart he will see Jesus’ blood atoning

 

Because of Jesus my sins were cast into the deepest sea

My precious savior did it all because of his great love for me

Because of his shed blood he cleansed my heart white as snow

and that's the reason why more and more I love him so

 

Yes it's all because of Jesus  his gift of salvation is offered to all

You only have to believe and receive it and on his name call

 

Romans 10:9: That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:13: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Isaiah 1:18: Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

John 1:12: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.

Jesus Is The Bread Of Life

Jesus is the bread of life 
which came down from heaven above
to give life to those who believe on him 
because of His great love
He left the ivory palaces to come 
to a world of strife
so that whoever eats of this bread 
will have everlasting life

Jesus is the living water 
the only water with an abundant supply
a thirst quenching everlasting fountain 
that never shall run dry
Eating the bread of life and drinking 
from Jesus well
will save your soul for eternity 
and keep you from going to hell

This is the whole reason that Jesus 
was born in a manger one day
to save us from our sins 
when we call on him and pray
