Jesus saved me when I was 24 years old when I realized I was a hopeless sinner and called upon his name to have mercy on me. He forgave my sin and gave me a new heart and also the gift of eternal life to live with him forever.
I have a wonderful husband of 41 years, one son, two daughters, two son-in laws, a daughter-in-law, six grandchildren, three boys and three girls, and also three sweet Cavalier King Charles spaniels. Next to my love for Jesus, my savior, is the precious family God has given me through his mercy. I began writing poems in 2008 after reading a Children's prayers poem book to my 4-year-old grandson pictured above.
It is the burden and desire of my heart for any reader that does not know Jesus, that they will accept him as their personal savior and be born again before it is eternally too late. John 14:6 says "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." There is no other way to have eternal life and your name written down in heaven.
Life verse: Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Permission is granted to anyone wishing to use poetry on this site for nonprofit or noncommercial Christian ministry or personal use as long as left in its entirety with no changes or deletions, including bible references. My only goal is to reach souls with the gospel and see souls saved through this ministry, and to encourage other believers in Christ. Also, feel free to link this site to your site if so desired.
This site will be updated regularly and listed below. Please check back for more poetry and music if interested. There is now also a "Christian Articles and Messages" section mainly on the topic of coming to Christ to be saved. Also, if you would like to learn more about the gospel, there are several good links on my link page that could be of help to you.
